Pressure Instrument Accessories

A101 & A102 PULSATION DAMPENERS

MODEL A101 WITH ADJUSTABLE NEEDLE

MODEL A102 WITH POROUS METAL FILTER DISC

A101

WITH  ADJUSTABLE  NEEDLE

It protects pressure gauges against sudden pressure changes and fluctuations of the pressurized fluid. They are adjustable (variable orifice section) and can be individually adjusted to the conditions of operation. An eventual readjustment during operation is possible at all times.

Pulsations and pressure shocks found in compressors, hydraulic machines, chemical installations etc. are compensated to a wide extent.

This increases the pressure gauge life time and gives better reading accuracy.

A102

TYPE WITH POROUS METAL FILTER DISC

Porous pulsation dampeners protect pressure gauges against sudden pressure changes and fluctuations of pressurized fluids and gases .The main component of this dampener is a porous metal filter disc. Pulsations and pressure shocks found in installations etc. are compensated to a wide extent.

This increase the pressure gauges life time and gives better reading accuracy.

Up to 1000bar

MATERIALS

Stainless steel AISI 316 or brass

Filter material AISI316

A111 & A112 OVERPRESSURE PROTECTORS

MODELA111          BELLOW TYPE

MODELA112          PISTON TYPE

Specifically designed to protect the pressure gauge from damage caused by overpressure exceeding the pressure gauge measuring range.

Completely automatic ,the valve closes and blocks consequently the circulatory to the pressure element to a pre-set value.

After decrease of pressure by about 25% below the pre-set value, valve opens and allows again circulation.

The pressure limiting valve, is also normally employed between gauges and diaphragm seals.

MATERIAL

Wetted parts stainless steel AISI 316

Heat numbers tamped on the body

SEALING RINGS

A151 & A152 GAUGE SIPHONS

MODELA151       U-SHAPE FOR HORIZONTAL MEASURING LOCATION

MODELA152      COILED FOR VERTICAL MEASURING LOCATION

Gauge siphons are used to protect pressure gauges against process fluid pulsations and to prevent over-heating.

The siphon is directly connected to the pressure gauge connection or to the shut-off valve or cock below the gauge. A condensate collects in the siphon and prevents the entry of hot fluid in to the pressure gauge.

Before start-up the syphon should be filled with a cooling barrier liquid.
